Can any1 confirm that current trainer works with the GOTY Edition or is request for new one needed?

I just got the GOTY edition through Origin and I can't get the trainer or editor to work. How do I know which is the correct one to use? Is there any way to verify the version I have and which trainer goes with it?

Make sure you downloaded the right trainer. I didn't and ended up with an outdated trainer. If you have the right one it works fine
