    To clarify, NO security software, nothing. Clean system except for Steam. Windows Defender and Windows Firewall disabled.

    Does Valve's VAC search memory and preemptively kill trainers? If not, I am out of ideas and unable to use trainers.

    Check Windows Defender logs. Windows Defender will not notify you if it blocks something.
