A lot of the community has responded positively to it, but a few diehard fans are throwing a hissy fit, thinking it will be the downfall of DayZ.
Also army bases no longer contain excessive loot and it's more random and scarce now than before.
The pvp in this game is the whole deal and most of the fun, it's easy to kill mindless AI zombies but let see if you can deceive another human player and take what's his after he worked so hard for it.
Not everyone can handle this kind of pressure in games so if you want to relax in a good old pve.. Dayz is not for you.
And you dont lose everything randomly, you lose everything for either being careless or not being smarter than your opponent.
Never encountered any hackers in this game but I saw a few vids of them showing off over youtube, anyway this game is vac protected for quite some time now so the chances you'll meet a hacker are close to 0.
But I get what you're saying man, mp hackers really ruin any pvp game not only Dayz.
The only beef I have with this game is its state of alpha, it's still broken as hell and it's been like 2 years since it got out.
