I understand the trainer (Chronicles of Rid****:Assault on Dark Athena) has been retired but it keeps crashing during the Auth process with compatibility options not being useful either.
Will this trainer be updated for newer versions of Windows or is there some other workaround that i missed to get old trainers working ?

No. Retired trainers are no longer supported. If you are on Windows 7, rollback IE to version 9 or earlier.
