Quick question, is there a way to decrease the development time needed to research some of the items. I really do not have to wait an hour to research cool stuff.

It's 1 hour of in-game time.

Your staff level determines the development time. Later on development time will be MUCH longer.

yes. use CoSMOS to speed it up
*enable speedhack option (you might need to tune it a bit)

Make sure you go OFFline before using speedhack and go into the helicopter.

I tried x60 and it worked.

Had an issue with the game crashing on me when I tried to use the speedhack, managed to resolve it though.

Make sure you're running CoSMOS 6.4 64-bit, and ensure you're using the VEH debugger instead of the windows one. Then just make sure the game's offline and not connected to any servers, and it should work.

This, then make sure that you're in the helicopter where your performance is least affected. Don't bring up any menus like the PDA and feel free to crank it up to x500.

Be aware that you may want to restart your game after having done this as I've noticed some audio issues after doing this in the form of sudden explosive loud static that nearly ruined my ears.

i looked at this for a couple hours off and on the last few days but was unable to come up with that option. i will look again at it when i get more time.
