Chris, you'll probably need to look at this, there's not much more I can do with it.

Remember awhile back there was a problem with Quttera reporting CH as a Malware site? Consequently they were reporting CH negatively at www.virustotal.com and I gave you the link in question at CH and you removed it.

I just checked CH at Virustotal and the lone negative report remains from Quttera. So I went to their site again and ran their online malware checking tool here:

    Link

Here are the results from that scan:

    Normalized URL: + www.cheathappens.com:80
    Submission date: Fri Jul 31 02:56:43 2015
    Server IP address: 141.101.126.121
    Country: Europe
    Server: cloudflare-nginx
    Malicious files: 317
    Suspicious files: 0
    Potentially Suspicious files: 0
    Clean files: 12
    External links detected: 100
    Iframes scanned: 1
    Blacklisted: Yes

    -----------------------
There is additional information included via the tabs at the top of the report:

    List of external links: 100

    List of iframes: 1

    List of referenced domains/hosts: 10

List of blacklisted external links: 44

    List of blacklisted iframes: 0

List of referenced blacklisted domains/hosts: 1

    -------------------
And there is more detailed info for that which you can view. Looks like if you just go to the link above and enter the CH website, this report will come up so you could see the details. If they save these reports to their links, view it here:

    Link

I don't know how they went from a single link for a bad external site (which you removed) to all this current info. Both their site and their entry at Virustotal.com have gone from CH as suspicious to CH as a Malicious site.

Well I was going to sign up to Q. But they dont do free sign ups. So I could tell them they information is wrong. So not sure what to do on that front.

Oh and I just ran Virustotal and Q says its clean on there.

I tried communicating with them previously and they refused to do anything about it regardless of whether the files are malicious or not.

Many sites are like that. I doubt you will be able to take it off. Sorry that's happening to CH though you guys are such a great site and team.

Apparently you can pay them $99 for "malware cleanup" and to have the site un-blacklisted. Sounds like a shady operation to me just like ripoffreport. Any anonymous user can submit your site as malicious, then you have to pay money to have someone actually check to see if it is or not.

You know I saw that button above the report and the request for the $99 bux. I assumed that was a charge for them to contact the website and try to get it cleaned.

But what you just said as well as them not wanting to work with you before to correct the report....makes sense that this $99 bux might very well be their business model, scam-like as it is.

I wonder if a bunch of us contacting them might help or if alerting Virustotal about this $99 scheme would be better?

I sent VirusTotal an email to let them know about this scheme. We'll see what they say.
