Is there a way to set the mouse to control the left/right steering for a vehicle?

Is there another type of controller for PC that would allow this?

This game would be great for me if I could control the steering with my mouse, like Borderlands allows the player to do. Pushing buttons to do it is very awkward. One can look around and sprint while using the mouse; why not while steering, I wonder.

Yep,. even if I liked to drive those pesky war machines, I agree, it would be way easier to win those speed contests while admiring the view, alas, some game developers think it's a way to spice-up the game total time played (cuz they're also rated by the average play time).

The best would be to have a mod built to correct this awkwardness

Thanks for the reply. I'm less likely to play the game for very long if it's too spiced up like that and I don't have an acceptable alternative.

Any suggestions on where to look for a mod that would do what I'm talking about?
