I've had a situation where Caliber did an update to a trainer which I still say that the previous one was working just fine. It was the StarCraft one and I had the latest version of the game. Loaded the trainer and used it to cheese some campaign level with a ton of Ravens in 5 minutes. No issues at all.

I haven't read all seven pages so I don't know if this has been suggested yet, if so then I vote for it.
Like we have the point system to vote for games, we should have a point system for everyone. For example everyone starts off with 100 points. If they vote for a game and it's false positive. The trainer still works. 5 points are removed from them. When they get to 0, they can still say "Hey game doesn't work" But they aren't trusted. Those with higher points still are.

To make it more easier to be tracked. You could have a "Is the trainer working" button next to the current version of the trainer. Whoever clicks no when it is, gets penalized.

What about: everyone start at 0, but accumulate points by being right when the trainer's outdated, as in counting posts you'll get stars, and when you got enough stars...you'll get a drink with PWizard

You do understand that doesn't solve anything, if you start at 0 the ones who knows their stuff don't really report an outdated trainer unless it's an old game because we knows Cal or 0x90 will get on it when they got the time, so in the end Cal and 0x90 will still have to waste space for people to get points..

A point system don't solve anything tbh, the solution they are going for here is to not waste the space, if people spend points on Cal or 0x90 downloading a game to check... they still waste space if wrong report lol

I don't think the point of a penalty system is actually about punishing the people it's an incentive for them to check everything and be sure something doesn't work to AVOID getting punished.

It's all a matter of perspective, but I agree.

After talks earlyer today with Element. I think there should be a page to report broken trainers. That require mandatory information inputed. E.g.

    Game name: Fallout 3
    Game version: 1.7
    OS Version: Win 7
    IE Version: 9
    AV Name: AVG
    FW Name: Windows
    Followed TSG: Yes
Details: (Detailed report of what happened and what you did to do to fix it) The game crashes with the current trainer. I ran the trainer, steam and game in admin mode. Also told my AVG and FW to ignore the trainer. I have also tried it with out the AVG or FW runing.

Something like this so the CHT have something to go on instead of it dosent work!

I would have to say 1,000 times this. Having to fill out a "Support Form" would slow people down from posting right away, and, in most cases, force them to actually do the troubleshooting steps in order to answer the questions. I would also put a bright and shiny link to it on the main page.

I also vote for this, could even have lines they have to click yes on that say

    "Did you run as admin"
    Yes/no

I mean it certainly would make people consider that before forcing you guys to install and waste time on something that works fine.
