Locked and loaded and ready for the sale but I'm a little wary of Steam's pricing. Last big sale I bought some games at 40% and 50% only to see them go to 66% and 75% on one game a few days later before the sale was over.

I'm curious if their new refund policy will prevent that or allow us to ask for adjustments. They now say it's ok to return a game for refund and buy it back on sale. So will that mean we can return a game we bought on sale and buy it back at an even better sale price if it's during the same sale?

I got nicked like that on Wolfenstein, the South Park game, two of the Assassin's Creeds and a couple others.

    Let the games begin.

Yep, you can return X game if it shows up with a higher discount, alto given the responce time on steam support, you prob won't get a reply untill its too late

Will we have to initiate a return and re-buy or will they just offer an adjustment to those that ask? I know they're slow.... man, are they slow.... but I believe they'll have to allow us the better price as of date we ask for it.

We'll have to pay attention and be pretty snappy about asking for it, though.

I've honestly got to hand it to Steam for having such amazing sales on games.

I've grabbed a bunch of games so far, mostly older ones now that they have dropped to what I would pay for them... Also am chuckling at how many jRPG and "Mature" Jrpg "visual Novels" Are flooding steam now and the steam sale page.

This site totally needs a Steam list Integration for quicker searching of trainers :P

Ouch. C'mon bro, that's a little harsh. I've also found some I wanted but I'm trying to stay selective and just pickoff the bigger discounted titles. Are you limiting buys to AAA only?

Steam has started increasing the discounts already. They're going from 40% to 60% sooner than expected. Best deals have been on older titles but I'm hoping as Day 10 nears that they get greedy and offer up some newer games with better discounts. I love these big sales, more like a Chess game.

    Stay tuned.

Edit: Btw, just saw something for the first time. Steam is excepting some items from being acceptable for refunds. I bought some DLC's for a sale game and they all have a notation in the cart saying: "Not eligible for refund!" Further down a note says: 1-This product contains consumable content that makes it not eligible for refund.

Consumable? This was for some Lords of The Fallen DLC's.

well, all the unlocks have mostly been indie, and or crap games, in my view, so haven't touched any of those

and the main sale, is pretty much prices that you can get day 1 from other sites, so all the interesting games i pretty much already have

was gonna jump on blood dragon, untill i remembered U****

would like to get Wild hunt, but i doubt it'll go higher than 10 %, and as im still stuck mid Witcher 1, i can wait

maybe a gem will spring up here and there, but sofar, i seen nothing

FC Blood Dragon? Do you already have 3 and 4? I think 4 is the best of the bunch but I am as of a few days ago having a problem with UP. I log in and start FC-4 and get "Unable to Sync Achievemnets." Also Saves. Have the main game complete lacking 3 Achievements, one dlc done and one to go and I get this crap.

I have an open support ticket for it. Their first reply was totally useless - completely off base. I'm waiting to see where it goes from here before uninstalling and reinstalling the UP client which some say is a fix. Some say that but not all. Ah, hell, you know how UP is. Not long ago I was saying how smoothly games were running at UP. Hmpf. SMH.
