BLADESTORM: Nightmare Message Board  

this is a terrible port from an old japanese 2007 game. the keys used in the game are completely UNKNOWN, there is 1000 videos, the game play I had to swap from japanese to be even able to read the stuff and hear english text.

so I plan on doing GOLD and RESEARCH POINTS.

what I need is a save that I can load, where it goes, and enough points that I can buy something with GOLD and buy something with RESEARCH POINTS.

I have NO IDEA how to even ATTACK during battles. I tried every key on the keyboard. the ESC key appears to be one of the attack keys.. but little else makes sense, which was expected since this is a japanese game

I did gold and sp with CoSMOS they are just normal 4 byte adresses and very easy to find. So I don't know if a trainer is nessecairy, but I will describe the savegamefolder layout and location for you and upload my save file.

You have to change the language setting the config executable. (open the config.exe, go to the 2nd page and select the 2nd dropdown menu to be able to select english as the language for all the menus).

I prefer to use my xbox360 controller to play it. This is basicly a dynasty warrior clone except it has squads lol. I dunno why but apparently I have two save folders for this game in mydocuments/Koeitecmo/BLADESTORM Nightmare/

Savedata_JP

Dunno why 2 folders?

Savedata contains 5 subfolders and savedata_JP only contains one. They both have a subfolder named PERSONALDATA and inside they have the same two files:
inputmap.dat
SAVEDATA.bin

I will try and upload these savegames for you.

I just uploaded my most recent savegame ( I think) this was in another folder then the PERSONALDATA folder mentioned before. Apparently the game makes subfolders for each save.

My savegame was in the following location:
C:\Users\Dwayne\Documents\KoeiTecmo\BLADESTORM Nightmare\Savedata\ORIGINALDATA00

Hi i dont know how youre making a Trainer but cheating Gold is no problem with CoSMOS

Adn its true this is such a terrible port as expected from koei even dw8xl and dw8e were terrible but this is more terrible ^^

hope they fix some crashes and bugs soon .

That terrible port cost 60Eu on steam -_- , this is madness
