Witcher 3, The - Wild Hunt Message Board  

There is a quest (in Velen) which requires you to kill a giant spider inside a cave.

There is no way I can kill this monster with my silver sword or magic. The health bar does not drop. No problem in killing the other smaller spiders.

Is there a way to kill this and complete the quest?

Kill Harrisi! kill all egg sacs in 2 locations,coat blade in Insectoid Oil + take a Golden Orloe Potion apparently.
I am still trying to find the Inectoid + Golden Orloe.
And you have to be at level 33, so i will have to come back for this one.That's what i read.
PS If you want to use science? Make sure his name is highlighted,
use target health (+) and he will die after you hit him again.
I saved the game(didn't hit hotkey 1 again).Closed and restarted the game then picked up the trophies without activating the hotkeys. If you don't you get a loading screen which doesn't stop. Tried on a vampire in a crypt and worked fine, so save before you pick up any trophies to be safe.
