TIER 7camf33 posted on Jun 29, 2026 9:20:13 PMNew to this and also to this thread, but I had to come and check out if there were any forums, decided to do a second walkthrough for W3 after the 3rd DLC was announced, and grabbed this trainer, completely unplayable. Either the trainer crashes or it crashes the running W3 application upon startup, not even gives the chance to execute any of the codes. Running the Steam version, with all DLCs, also I have tried to launch it in Dx12 or Dx11, also crashes the same way in my Steamdeck. -

Your welcome to make a detailed report, but just know that 2 of our testers had no luck replicating this.
One was testing for well over an hour.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. TIER 7Laforza posted on Jul 01, 2026 5:53:39 PMTry waiting to hit F1 until your save is loading up. I had similar crashes then started hitting F1 as the save was loading and it's worked fine. -

the trainer works for us when activating on the main menu

There is no trainer for the "Complete Edition". I just tested the trainer again, and it's still working as intended.

Either in the main menu when hitting F1, the game would then CTD during the loading scene or - if I turn the trainer on after the game loaded, within a few seconds usually. There's no message other than the game's Submit Report pop up.
I think this behavior started a couple of months ago. The only way around it I saw was if I make a full system reboot - in most of the cases that would be enough for the game to work while the trainer is active, for a few hourse at least.
Is it possible something was updated in the game making the trainer incompatible? -
