Witcher 3, The - Wild Hunt Message Board  

Fresh game, no mods, not files changes. Best is even a fresh install so you know the game is fully updated and all files intact.

Does anyone else get a 'Game is not (detected as) a compatible game' message upon trainer activation? I'm using the most recent version of the trainer, dated June 19th 2024, and I have confirmed my game version is v 4.04, from GoG.

i too have had the problem og the game craching after starting the trainer, but it only started to happen after i have reached 30 to 40 houers of gameplay, so i started a new game and the trainer works fine agien, but i am woried it will start to happen agien, but now this time i try to be more awhere when exsagly in the story it starts to happen..

Question on this trainer.Is this trainer just for use on the base game or can I use it for the complete edition of the game. Reason I ask is that I just purchased the complete.edition of the game recently and just started playing it

Also had in recent days some random crashes when starting the game and at main screen i activate the trainer the game crashes, however if i wait until i am in a loaded up game it self, and not main menu it does not crash for me and plays just fine.

Wondering what the reason is for not having the Gwent mini game features in the trainer anymore, i kind of liked that "easy win" with Gwent in the game, but it is also not needed unless you want 100% completion in the game so not a must have for me was just nice extra xp.

Same here, Games crashes when Trainer is active. Also
, the Trainer had way more options before, for instance gwent

The other options were removed since they couldn't be recreated. I just tested a GoG install, and it didn't crash for me.

I also had multiple late game crashing issues in GOG after playing the game for a while, happened earlier last year.... it was about my 4th time thru, and I hadn't had many crashing ssues with it before, so I gave up on it, and moved on to other games....

So, I've decided to delete all of my game/save data from my documents file, and then wait for the next promised DLC to become live (hopefully in this coming May...),

And, it may be a bit of a waste $-wise, but since potentially corrupted game save files existi in my GOG cloud, I may just repurchase the whole package in Steam, and see how that works.... after , I am assuming, that the forthcoming DLC will spawn a trainer update for the game in Aurora....

Fingers crossed with this approach, as deleted GOG cloud saves, is a pain in the rear....
