I´ve downloaded the app, and it´s amazing, is like steam app.
I think the Gog.com will be the new Steam.
    What do you think guys?
I´m starting to buy games on GOG.com instead of the other companys, like ubi**** etc.

No publisher is interested in releasing their AAA game without DRM, so GOG is only a place for non AAA games (mostly +10 years old). I'll not count Witcher 3 in this case.

But their client has many cool features where I believe it can be a great addition to Steam (NOT replacing it! but thats what they also dont want).

The cross play feature is pretty cool and I'm glad Valve is supporting it. I'm not really a fan of Origin because it's Steam in a different case but this client, GOG Galaxy, is going into the right direction but not trying to do the same, instead to do something that fits into the missing parts.

Well spoken, that being said after my last post I did strike at a price of 20$ for witcher 3 on GOG so I will be comming along shortly fellas

GOG used to be a site for old games free of drm but today that's entirely untrue, more than quarter of GOG games are modern releases and yes few of them are AAA titles like witcher 2&3, PILLARS OF ETERNITY etc..
But all in all most of the new games are indie gems like: This War Of Mine, kerbal spcace, banished etc..
I think in the future we'll see more and more AAA titles as dev's begin to realize that drm wont help their sales anyway, there are almost none of games that havent been cracked and easily, if someone doesnt want to pay for a game he wont no matter what and if the game has online based drm or something he just wont play it.

The good thing about Galaxy is that everything is OPTIONAL. You are an anti social gamer? No overlay? No Friendlist? No sharing? You can turn everything off in Galaxy. You don't want to stay online? You don't have to. You don't want DRM or Galaxy at all? You don't have to.

That's what Galaxy makes so different comparing to Steam or Origin or Desura. Not only the client is fully optional but also every feature. They want to create a place that fits to your personal style without forcing you to make any compromise. You can use the client (if you want) the way you want.

But even then they don't create their own eco system and forces you to be restricted to it like Steam, Origin or Desura. They try to create something that can exist along with other platforms without having you to decide between A or B.

It's just cool to have an optional service you can use without restrictions the way you want, if you want. With 30 days money back warranty this can become something really interesting. But yeah it stands and falls with the available games.
