    Hello,

At this point in our discussions it seems clear to me that you are angry with me as I am angry with you. That anger, however, isn't going to solve the issue for either of us. With that in mind, I would like to make a suggestion that might possibly solve the problem.

First of all, asking you to make 2 trainers for every game would be unfair and unreasonable to you. Likewise, not making trainers for us GOG people is unfair and unreasonable to us. Can we make a compromise? Would that be possible?

I have a suggestion. What would be wrong with us GOG people voting for GOG versions separately from Steam versions. We spend our credits for our versions just as Steam people spend their credits for their versions.

To me, if a trainer only works for one version and not another then how can they be the same game? If the games were the same then the trainers would be the same and work for both.

Let us spend votes/credits however we choose--as long as the versions are different.

That seems logical to me. Let's hear from other members to see what they think.

    Regards,
    kk

We have made MANY GOG trainers in the past and will continue to do so as time allows. We do not have the manpower or resources to hire additional programmers to support two versions of every game and every patch that comes along with every game. Request credits are given freely to members each month and RARELY are purchased. Simply reaching a credit goal is not going to magically give us the extra THOUSANDS of dollars a month it would cost to hire one or more additional programmers to take on the entire GOG catalog. The trainers always say which version of the game they support and we always encourage people to purchase the one that we support.

The request system is also not currently designed to support multiple versions of the same game as we don't have the resources to make multiple versions anyways. That would also require additional programming time and resources to accomplish and probably just tie up even more credits for games that would never reach their goal.

I appreciate the trainers being released by CH for retail or Steam versions, and I also appreciate the trainers for GOG versions that are released by CH whenever possible and time permits.

Thank you for the explanation. It makes sense to me. Hopefully, however, you can somehow find the resources in the future for more GOG trainers. One can always hope.
