mine is totally screwed. I was playing single player. fool was I, that I forgot to restart the game. just heading straight to online after closed the trainer.
what I activated was the fast stats. the other codes I used was unlimited ammo. but never effect my online stats, until that fast stats.
that fast stats makes my kill player -950000000 something. that minus is too huge to make it up to positive. it affects my shooting skill to blank, and never will rise up again (this will affect other new char you created too on that account).
I don't know whether the game code is broken or something. but I suspect this is a glitch like the "money hex cheat" that screw me. been stop playing for 2 days now.
my first char is totally screw now. all his skills are blank. only the stealth is full now (was only 1 bar before the error).

what are you talking about? Fast stats? what?

Ok, so I've been using the trainer in SP since it released and no issues. I've restarted the game before entering MP making sure the trainer isn't open, but I haven't been using the offline parameter. That being said yesterday I received a 2 week ban. I can enter SP but am banned when trying to enter MP.
Grammar and punctuation is the difference between; "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse." ...and... i helped my uncle jack off a horse.

Did the ban specify that you were caught cheating in offline play? If not then you were banned for something else. I doubt they bother monitoring offline play.

There have been number of report that R are now banning people using trainer/mod even in single player, i don't think is safe to use any modification while keeping the connection online

Only safest way to use this trainer i assume that have to be completely offline (literally cut off from outside world)

I stop using trainer after number of reports and confusion from the online community and i have been playing online, so i want to keep my status safe for now until more solid proof on what R is doing.

    Spoiler:
The most convincing/prevalent explanation I’ve come across goes like this: due to the closed off nature of GTA V’s internal architecture, the so-called “mods” that have made waves recently aren’t really mods in the traditional sense. They don’t add anything new. Rather, they tamper with pre-existing elements of the game—add or subtract values, put whales where they’re not supposed to be, etc.

Seems innocent enough so long as it stays confined to single-player, but there’s just one problem, according to Steam user Terk: it can’t. Or at least, it’s very, very hard to ensure that it will.

“That’s the point a lot of people don’t understand here, we’re not talking addons. We’re talking DLL files that have been modified to allow a user to run ANY additional code they want and have the game accept it and execute it. There are no limits to what can be run with this and the trainer that comes as the included demonstration of scripthook is a very benign usage of the potential.”

“To give you an example of the dangers of allowing DLL Injected clients to connect to multiplayer servers or any other client for that matter, until recently, in Reign of Kings, hackers using the same method that scripthook uses, were using injected assembly code into DLLs to modify files on the computers of other players on the servers they connected to and in many cases, even the files on the servers themselves.”

“When we’re talking about DLL Injection, there is no such thing as singleplayer mod or multiplayer mod. It’s just foreign code being run, anywhere the user wants. The only way to prevent it is to check the integrity of the DLLs of any client on connection and cutting the connection as soon as a disprecency is found. It may seem like overkill, but the alternative is a complete loss of security for anyone using gta online.”

Thus, it stands to reason that Rockstar might blanket block this method of modding the game, because it’s so easy for it to seep into multiplayer, even if many players never intended for it to.

^Using DLL injection they could screw around with stuff on their own machine, but unless Rockstar designed GTA to allow it to receive commands for messing up with files, it should not be possible for them to screw around with the systems of other players connected to the same server.

So this might be a stupid question, but has anyone experienced and bans/issues if they cheat in their SP save, and later load that save normally, that is, not in offline mode?

I ask, since I'd love to use the trainer, and I've held off this long on the fun, since I haven't wanted to risk my GTAO status, since it's a char I've played for almost 2 years now. Any clarification would be appreciated.

If anyone can confirm a cheat save can be loaded normally, after cheating, with the trainer disabled, would be of great help.

i cheat in single player. I mod single player. no issues. I've used other people's saves. Just don't go online with trainer or mods. You will get banned... simple as that. You cannot edit your GTAO save... You can only edit your single player one and feel free to do w/e you like in Single Player....

"No one has been banned for using single player modifications, and you should not worry about being banned or being relegated to the cheater pool just for using single player PC mods."

Quote from Rockstar. If you've been banned you've accidentally opened GTA:O even for a second or two. Be careful with your mouse clicks or better yet. Do not open the trainer until you are safely in singleplayer mode.
