Best FPS for pure carnage?
What is the best FPS game for pure carnage? I just want to turn on a trainer and go around shooting enemies without having to reload. Is that so wrong? I don't care about plot or story line, I don't want covert missions or multiplayer, just waves of enemies to shoot and a nice selection of modern weapons to shoot them with. Good graphics are a plus, but not essential. Age doesn't matter...in fact the older the game is the cheaper it'll probably be to buy. Something that has invisibility in the trainer would be awesome as well. Suggestions?

I like Bend's choices too, plus I might add Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. I'm playing that now and it's a blast. Medieval type mind you, not high tech laser weapons and such, and pretty complicated to get started, but great fighting to say the least.
Also, there's an older title that's major run and gun that I like: BulletStorm. Crazy weapons and some way cool kill shots.
The lines defining strictly FPS have gotten a little blurred in some titles lately, but all those hit the mark imo.

WTH people, he's looking for an FPS without story and enemy waves to grind through.
Have a look at Painkiller, Serious Sam 3, and Rise of the Triad.
The only game mentioned above that fits that description is Bulletstorm.
Shadows of Mordor ....

Maybe. Just before reading this, I was in the middle of 50 blood crazed Orcs with 50 more coming and 50 more behind those. If that's not waves, then I dunno. Yeah, has a plot. Involves thinking at some point at least.
Ehh, Point taken. Just seems like everytime I suggest a zombie fest they say "that's too simple, I'm bored. Whaaa. I'm using a trainer. Whaaaa."
So Bulletstorm to Mordor. Brain dead to brain engaged. Pick your poison.
