Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin Message Board  

I can confirm it's running 1.02. Not sure how to confirm if it's 64 bit, but I bought it in July, and was using the trainer until December. And yes, it's definitely Steam. I'm fairly certain it's 64 bit though, as I checked the installation folder and no dll's mention 32, but 4 or 5 of them say 64.

I think I got it working now. Even though I disabled my antivirus, I think Malwarebytes was actually blocking it with no notification. I turned that off, but left my antivirus on and got the warning about the tmp file (that didn't show last time), that I could exclude.

Several trainers did run perfectly in Windows 7, but now in Windows 10, I get message *access denied*.
Just trying to run a trainer, without the program.
Virus prog out. Windows Defender de-installed, Security authorization OK.
As Admin under Safe start, I could copy them to another harddisk, but not running.
Especially the trainers by Cheat Happens are troublesome.

Latest Dark Souls II trainer downloaded, extracted and run fine on Windows 10 with Wind Defender + Firewall enabled and no issues.

Something on your side is blocking the trainer. Disable SmartScreen, temporarily disable/uninstall your current AV/third party firewall/other security software, run the trainer with admin rights and try again.

I'm using kaspersky total security. I disabled it, added trainer, temp folder to exclusion list. Also added the application to safe zone. But when I press F1 trainer crashes.

I'm using steam so, I have blocked darksouls 2 scholar from firewall (playing offline). I have done this to protect myself from vac bans.

What ever I do the trainer always crashes at the press of F1.
Game version is v1.02 and calibration 2.02.

As a side note : These temp file creator trainers sometimes have difficulty on my system. But nothing I couldn't solve before. This time it is different.

Can somebody advice? (except uninstalling antivirus)

I just downloaded the game from Steam and used our last trainer without any issues on Windows 7 Ult x64. But instead of a firewall rule I only ran Steam in offline mode which automatically sets the game also to offline mode.

Please exclude the trainer exe file and the tmp file called ~Mnn133.tmp, which is created in the Windows tmp folder (C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\AppData\Local\Temp\) from any scans of Kaspersky, run the trainer with admin rights and activate it while at the game's main menu.

on jotti and virustotal i get different warnings that there is a trojan/keylogger in the file. That's the first time this happen to me on cheathappens, so can you please check it?
