Same for me, just started the game yesterday with the latest trainer and gold isn't working. Thanks!

Update: NM figured it out. I didn't see #5 as having to be used before 6.

Interesting. Since am using the old one perfectly fine alone with thwe editor. Not sure what the HF was needed for.

can anyone tell me the difference between in the trainer that says 'HF' and that doesn't say HF?

the patch number is same and everything so i don't understand the difference

There was a hotfix which corrected an issue with the instant level up party when used too many times in a row. If the non HF trainer works fine for you then just use it.
