Another example is mission i believe7 - when you gór to check GHOST SHIP in the Nebula - when i scout this SHIP its appeard its protected by 90 alien anomally assault frigates - INSANE!!!!
This got to have something with building units above limitation and rheb starting new mission .....
You do know the more you pump out the more you will have to deal with on the next mission, when carried over. That is the game dynamic diff.
So the solution is
to pump out to Max game limitation And when next mission
pump above and then reduce fleet to Max game limitation and So on - then the CPU will adapt to Max game limitation if you Maxed your fleet .. But when above then CPU ul be also affect scripted above fleet size .
