So I wanted to try this trainer, however it does not start.
No problems during downloading at all. But when I run the trainer an icon briefly appears in the taskbar and then dissapears. No trainer or any related processes running.
Is this trainer related or something on my end?

Start by making sure the trainer and the folder C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens are added to your anti-virus exclusion list. Check the A-V quarantine folder to see if anything trainer related has been detected in there and delete them, eg.
CH_Temp.tmp
~Mnn133.tmp
~CheathappensTrainer.tmp
Run the trainer as admin, if it closes again, let us know which A-V software your using and check task manager again under apps and see if it is running.
When I try to run the current version of the trainer (BUILD 22830) I keep getting a 'How do you want to run this file' pop up, for a .tmp file. I cannot bypass it, and it doesn't do anything if I pick notepad. The trainer itself also fails to run after this.
Please create scan exclusions for the trainer exe file and for the Work folder. - The Work folder is located here -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\
After you did this, clear your security software's scan history/logs and quarantine, clear the Windows Temp folder, reboot your PC and launch the trainer again with admin rights.
Addition: Should you have selected a program to open the .tmp file and this dialogue now pops up every time you want to run the trainer, you need to reset the Windows Default Apps. For Windows 10: Press Win key + i -> Apps -> Default Apps -> scroll a bit down in the rights column and select the 'Reset' button at 'Reset to the Microsoft recommended defaults'.
