I have the ability to purchase a copy locally. I was wondering if you were able to install it and get it running on a modern system?

    Thanks!

i installed and played it for 10 minutes, on Windows 7, without any issue

the only oddity i encountered was during the install, where it reaches 80ish %, and then looks like its frozen for 10ish minutes, whereafter it went 80 -> 100 % in like 3 seconds

Good information. I am running Windows 8.1. I think I will give it a shot. It was one of those games that had sooo much potential.
