Trainer Tools and Resources
Played an hour to confirm that the Trainer was crashing it.

I am playing the game in VR so I don't know if that makes a difference.
Occurs when multiple options are used together or are left on, if options are toggled on & off crash does not seem to occur anywhere near as frequently.
The easy crafting option is hit and miss, and the crash occurs not necessarily when crafting, but can be when deploying an item crafted or just swimming around.
As the crash is intermittent and caused by numerous options I suspect it shall be a "gremlin" type issue (something not quite right but bloody difficult to find what it is).
For those having trouble make sure you only use the options as you need them (toggle o2, food, water, on as it needed and then off again straight away) same with easy crafting. Do not leave any options on for longer than necessary. That way I can get a few hours normally before the crash occurs.
The is also the possibility the crash is occurring in the base game.
Can confirm than all testing in relation to this report, and all reports are done on vanilla, un-modded version of subnautica. With only the trainer & steam running along side the game exe
Also each time I play this game I have no crashes but I don't have the time to play the game for hours. I recommend like you said, only using options when necessary then.
Anyway regarding a report the game would crash when using craft cheat, I've recorded a video showing it works fine on my end:
As was stated, the crash seems to happen at random, at some points I can be playing for 30 minutes with various options on, different each time, and sometimes the game will crash as soon as I press F1 to enable the trainer.
I've tried different methods of starting the game and trainer (running both trainer and game as admin, starting game, loading in, then starting trainer, and vice versa)
Playing the game without the trainer produces no crash, even after multiple hours of swimming around, going to different areas manually, as well as warping to locations with "console" commands (in an attempt to force the game to hard load entire areas).
It may also depend on what your build in the game, what you are using etc. I for example test the trainers on a new game.
Anyway there is not much I can do about that at this point.
