today i updated my cheat to(Subnautica Trainer (SILENT RUNNING 64-BIT) 2017/04/28) this version.
but i get an error at open this cheat.
i check cheat is on administer and take off my windows defender.

open cheat,and when cheat at second ch icon and show "loading gui" ,cheat has stopped running.
but cheat version 03/24 it was running well.

my system is win10 x64 1607
7700K/16GB
system language is Simplified Chinese.

Something on your system is blocking the trainer wether to access the internet or to write into the Windows temp folder.

Please temporarily disable your antivirus/anti-malware/firewall/other security software completely and try again.

i closed all antivirus/anti-malware/firewall.then restart my computer.
and try a offline key.
it's still not work.

I downloaded the latest trainer that was released yesterday, extracted and ran it without any issue on Windows 10 x64 1703 with Defender + SmartScreen + firewall enabled.

Please check your security software again. Disabling doesn't necessarily mean that all their processes and background scans are terminated.

The trainer locks up for me and crashes the game anytime I attempt to activate an option. It appears to work for a second but quickly seizes. I've disabled all anti-virus software (just MSE) and I turned off windows firewalls and run as administrator but it doesn't seem to matter.

I've redownloaded the trainer a few times, rebooted, and reinstalled the game. It only started happening since the Silent Running update. Another thing that's strange is when I was playing around with the trainer without the game even running if I click on the Troubleshooting tab the trainer locks up the explorer process and I get an immediate window to terminate the process, strange.

Let me know if any of this is able to be replicated. Thanks for your time.

The trainer needs write permissions to the Windows temp folder as well as to this location -> C:\Users\(YourWindowsUserName)\Cheathappens\Work

Something is still messing with the trainer exe. Did you disable SmartScreen completely?

Thanks for the heads up, I'll look into this.

I'm currently running and old Win 7 Ult x64 image (although I still do the monthly rollout updates from Microsoft). I didn't even know what SmartScreen is until looking it up. Internet Explorer isn't installed on my computer, I've removed it and I don't have Windows 8 or greater so there isn't away for me to enable/disable SmartScreen that I can tell.

I'll double check read/write permissions on my drives and see if there's a problem with the location you mention. I do run the games off a Steam Library on a different drive than a local drive, but the trainers all run from and exist on the local C: drive.

Thanks again, if I'm the only one reporting the issue though it's safe to say I'm an extreme minority case and the problem exists with my image of Windows.

Trainer works fine, there's just some strange problems on my end.

Tried to re-enable Internet Explorer through Windows Features On/Off. It wasn't even there anymore, so I figured I may have gutted some major windows components at some point so who knows what's wrong with my image.

Installed an offline installer of IE 11, put it back, let windows do some updates. It's working fine now. I realize this makes zero sense, and I know now SmartScreen is the built in Win8 + phishing/malware filter and not the same as the one in the IE browser, but I had some crazy problem years ago where all my trainers would crash when I tried to open them and uninstalling IE 10 somehow solved the issue.

The moral of the story is Windows is stupid, and I'm even dumber than that.
