The "zombies in half" mission is actually arms first. So aim for the arms

Do not use instant kill option, because when knocked down it is easy to position and to get both arms in one swing.

Cal,
the time of day does not seem to affect the timers for challenges or for timed missions.

After getting the mission or challenge and the clock starts counting down, hitting the increase or decrease ToD button only changes the exterior time, sun position, and day or night statuses.

just wont to say i can not get my head round CoSMOS all the posts i have read and youtube videos explaining how to use it are either poor quality or written badly

so that is why i purchased my ch account witch i am very happy with

i would like the Freeze Calllenge Timers option if Mr Caliber has time & if Mr PWizard does not mind so ill keep my fingers crossed ....lol

did anyone bother posting the location of these or, more helpful, A SAVEGAME?

They appear around 14% into the story, and are located in safe zones around the map. Would've posted a save game, but I've already done all of them..
