Just got a new PC yesterday, and I'm planning on using the free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as my anti-virus for both protection and detection of harmful files. Will it be reliable enough?

I don't use it now, but I've used Malwarebytes before, it always worked for me. I have it on my phone, as well, and I haven't had any problems with it.

Wow you appeared out of no where. Days ago I saw some users coming back and I started remembering old users, you were among the names haha good to see you again.

To stay on topic, I also had it on my old computer, just want to make sure it's the one I should keep.

I say the best person for this would be Neo.

I dont use that software but I use AVG Free and she has been fine.

Malwarebytes + Microsoft Security Essentials both are fine compatible with our trainers and very less annoying.

Otherwise you can try out Avira or Comodo Internet Security but both aren't well compatible with our trainers.

Hah, it's good to see you again, too. I still pop up every now and then. I just very rarely post. This won't be the last time you see me I'm sure.

Also, the thing I like about Malwarebytes is that I've seen it work very well from experience; my old laptop's paid antivirus expired, and I'd been using it without any form of protection (smart, I know). Ended up getting a pair of viruses, but using Malwarebytes, along with a couple other programs, helped get rid of them. I actually gave that laptop to a friend whose family is struggling; over a year later, it still runs fine (now with antivirus, of course).

Edit: Just fixing a typo. Damn things.

Same here, MSE and Malwarebytes work well together and well around trainers.

I use avast and malewarebytes and avast has only had a few issues with trainers lately but seems to have been fixed as of late.
