Far Cry 4 Message Board  

Ubi has confirmed to me that the save game files are not account protected, nor locked. I have found individual mission save files, as well as some 100% complete saves. I have placed them in every path/directory I know about, but yet Far Cry 4 in game, does not acknowledge any of them. Any thoughts or ideas on what I am doing wrong?

There is a site called savemygame.fr that I have found is reliable.
See if they have FC4 saves then see what they say about the install path.

Thankis Bill. I have checked that site, and they don't have a save yet. I am waiting to hear from Ubi, according to their tech support, the location of the saves may be different than originally thought.

Problem fixed. I am now able to use save games. It is a bit of a complicated task, but you must edit the save game files using a hex editor. I am pretty savvy with hex editors but even this took me a couple of hours. Simply put, yes, save game files can be shared on FarCry 4.
