I dunno if its just me but the Mega crafting items doesn't work it says theres 99 but when it comes down to it, it will either NOT make the item or will go back to normal amount when used =(

Yes, I discover this too just now. In fact the mega gold also didn't work.

Is the game got updated recently? or what could have cause this?

I sell the item to merchant but when I buy it back, it came with the original amount of 1, although it should be 99.

Then you are doing something wrong.
Press the key, then FIRST open the inventory, ingredients should all be set to 99.
Go to a vendor, sell everything. Turn option off.
Buy everything back.

People who's having problem, this is how I did mine.

1- Visit any [Trader] than save your game(Or quick save) before entering trade screen, so any mistake you make you can quick load your game if you lost any materials.

2- Open your inventory than scroll down to {Crafting Materials} than press Num 8 to activate your cheat. Than enter {Crafting Materials} than scroll them all to make sure you got them all at 99.

3- Exit your inventory than press Num 8 to deactivate your cheat than enter [Trader] screen. Sell all the materials that you want than buy them all back.

4- Exit [Trader] screen than quick save, than quick load so your materials will stay at 99. Open inventory and check inside {Crafting Materials} see if everything work. Than your done.

Problem I had the first time was that I did not turn off Mega crafting items, so I end up losing all materials when buying them back. Also I learn in my game if I don't save my game and reload, my materials will not stay at 99 as it return to what it was before or all materials disappear.

I found it helps to cycle the ingredient pages to ensure they all get it, then leave the ingredient page, while focused on the first page. Sometimes it doesn't immediately grab all of the ingredients.
