This stopped working for me as well. 5 and 9 no longer do anything.
I loaded 2 savegames, one where there is gold on the ground and the other where you are next to a buy/sell trade.
both options worked perfectly, first try.
For option 5, you need to have the option on and THEN pick up gold.
For option 9, you have to have the option on and then SELL something (like a Dragonthorn) and when you sell it, your gold will increase..
turn options OFF when not needed

More info: It still activates at the main menu. I still get the "Activated" when I type 9 on the numpad. When I sell an item, nothing special happens. I'll have to find another gold pile to test the other feature again. 9 is failing on all of my savegames now, even chars where it worked previously. I disabled my AV, etc.

I can confirm that I have this same issue. I have run many, many trainers from here, so I know how they work. Function 5 & Function 9 are not currently working on the trainer. I have followed every instruction & suggestion offered. The other options like infinite health, etc, work just fine, just not the gold options.
Also, I have the Deluxe edition. I know it was stated earlier that it makes no difference, I just thought I'd mention it. This isn't a demand for a fix or anything, just informative that it isn't currently working for me. If your only response will be to tell me I'm doing something wrong (as I said, I am very familiar with the trainers and never experienced a problem I couldn't fix or figure out previously), then I'd rather there be no reply at all.
Hopefully, someone will realize it's not just random or user error. If not, I'll just enjoy having infinite life, magic, etc... afterall, something is better than nothing
ok so I tried this with 6 different saves, some WITH a party and some WITHOUT.. I can't get the trainer to NOT work..
no idea what is going on with your game, but BOTH options work.
btw, in cases like this I have very little info to go on with just 'doesn't work'. or 'used to work but now doesnt'.
i.e. where in the game are you? is this late in the game? what area? etc.
perhaps the game has a max amount you can get or something... maybe you need to be a little further in the game where the game actually let's you use money, etc. I have no idea.
It works fine here, multiple saves, multiple areas of the game

Ok. So I downloaded the trainer, activated it at the main menu, but none of the options work when I hit the number pad keys. I tried switching the keys using the customize option, but when I map it to Num pad !, it switches to the "End key". Anyone know whats up?
Out of curiosity, you DO have numlock enabled right? Also, do you have a full keyboard with the numpad to the side or a compact one with it integrated and requiring a "Fn" key combination to use?
