Will the trainer eventually have an add gold and level up/level down feature?
There are TWO GOLD FEATURES IN THE TRAINER ALREADY...
GODDAMN I WANT TO JUST SLAM MY HEAD AGAINST THE CONCRETE SOMETIMES!
Just wondering how the xp code works. So I add the trainer xp the i fight something to get the legit xp. Given the amount of xp we can get how long before we level up? Does it even allow you to level up?
the option SIMPLY WRITES TO ONE ADDRESS an increase of 10000 to the current XP value. So if you had 530 XP, then one press of the option and you will then have 10530. The next press would be 20530 and so on.
If you have 530 and level up is at 2000 then yes, when you gain REAL XP then you might miss whatever code occurs at 2000 when you would have leveled up there if you had not added the XP using the trainer. To be honest I don't have either the time nor the will to test this or try and explain the effects good or bad. The option simply increases your XP by 10000. If this is not wanted or you have effects from it that you don't like, then don't use the option. The trainer clearly describes that you should SAVE OFTEN and EARLY.
If people don't like the XP option then simply use one of the other 1000 trainers for this game on the net. (oops! there are no other trainers, are there?.. and the reason is that this game is a nightmare to work with and have a stable, repeatable trainer that doesn't crash and 100% works.)
I have many other titles to work on and DAI takes hours to progress and to earn other items which could be trained. Until I get savegames with those items or have more time to play the game you will have to use the trainer as is. I don't plan to adjust or modify the XP option in any way. Use the Ability points option to unlock all the abilities and just level up with XP normally if you think that the trainer is causing you to miss something.
best,
Cal
Your work is appreciated. It will be nice to see more features.
For myself, I'm just hoping to see a stat editor (or add stats cheat).
well I played the game for 2 hours and nothing modified the stats and there were no points given to me to do anything with the stats..

Yay...
Now i got a trainer, just waiting for the game...
Let me add on your misery. Go to dragonagekeep.com and start making your custom world in there. That way, you can just go straight and play your game when you get it.
Oh, do not forget to go shop for coffee. You might need it for those late night virtual adventures in Dragon Age.

Your stats are increased as you unlock certain abilities.
You will see something like +3 Strength on Unlock. So I guess working out the stat values would rely on unlocking the abilities which boost various stats.
