Had to tweak my mouse a bit it was chunky at first, just upped its DPI and it was a bit better to move around the crowds.

That is one thing that is in abundance is the crowds, which makes escaping and catching people difficult. And the tackle action is no longer automatic you have to be facing the right way and right distance to catch them.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

From the notes on the patch, my issues may have been related to having 2 GPUs in "crossfire". I'll see how it performs afterwards.

You know when you run dual GPU's your system recognizes the VRam from only one of the cards right?

But anyway patch 1.2 is supposed to address issues that are apparent in dual GPU systems.

It uses the VRAM from both cards, but because each card is doing alternate lines, each card is using it's own VRAM. The performance effect is that each card is only filling half of the screen, though with only it's normal allotment of ram. After the processing, you usually get a 30-40% boost in frame rates.

Of course, having a game optimized for it is a big factor. I've played both optimized and non-optimized. But when a game is optimized -it's sweet!

"It uses the VRAM from both cards, but because each card is doing alternate lines, each card is using it's own VRAM. "

You're thinking of old SLI from 3dfx---when it meant "ScanLine Interleave" ---drawing half the screen on one card then the other. In those days, 2 8MB Voodoo2s would actually have more than 8MB total memory to play with.

Todays SLI (Scalable Link Interface)/Crossfire is AFR based (alternate frame rendering) which is why each card has to have the same texture data on board, thus 2 4GB cards only have 4GB texture memory, not 8GB like some think.

I'm running the game on ultra settings at 40fps but I play it on Very High at around 50-60 although I'm also running some other programs and games in the background which doesn't help. My computer has 32gigs of ram, 3.5ghz six core CPU, Nvidia 780 GTX graphics card so it does tend to help running that much stuff at once.

The game while buggy is actually quite stable for me at least and if you think its bad on PC its just plain hilarious looking at how bad it is on console.
