been trying to download the game but when it gets to 60 percent download speed goes down to 6.9 kb/s from 3.5 mb/s. do I have to put in the code I got from ubi before I download? I have the Gold Edition that came with the Season Pass

Codes are to be entered later, either while first time launching or in the main menu under extras depending on the type of code.

Ubi just sucks for not preloading games.

Rather then give people a few days in advance time to download to not load the servers, they force everybody trying to download the same content at the same time. Servers get overloaded and this happens.

I bought my game through greenmangaming and was able to download it around 10pm EST and played the game at midnight. It seems that Ubisoft allowed some to play early and the rest had to wait till this afternoon.

It was probably because the GMG codes were seen as physical copies so they loaded right away while the digital's had to wait.

well...got it up to 1.9mb/s....only because I switched over to my Wi-Fi connection

Certain uplay services are down for maintenance. Apparently the services not affected are gameplay and pc login.

I can say that pc login is affected for some as I haven't been able to log in today. Shame too, since with uplay's DRM I can't play unless I log in and register my game first.
