I do not get it. on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare PC Message Board - Page 1

It says right on the trainer, ((WRITTEN FOR THE ORIGINAL RETAIL VERSION OF THE GAME.)) ((May not work with all versions.)) Dose not say anything about steam version. And You people have got to know by now that they release the game with bugs in it and through forums and other media is how they figure out how to fix the problems. Why do you think we get so many trainer updates.

Uhhh.. The retail version IS The Steam version, its only playable on Steam..

So whats the problem?

Which still means you need to use the code on steam, and download and play on steam... right?

So was Half Life 2 when it was released, but it still needed to go through the Steam client.

As does CoD:AW.

first of all have you tried the trainer if is working? second how about be thankful that there is a trainer already no one in here forcing you to be a member right and download their trainer.

Also I am not complaining about the trainer. I just thought there was a steam version and a retail version. Its almost always labeled retail/steam version and this said only retail since I was only looking at the message boards to see how the game played and how well the game works wit the trainer before I got it. I guess I just get tired of all the neg feed back from people every time a new game comes out. I know how hard the people at CheatHappens work to get us these trainers and keep them updated.
