i had one of those in borderlands 2, it's basically unlimited ammunition and no reloading. i loved it lol

It's not an infinity pistol lol. It's just a regular shotgun with a small magazine. All it does is conserve one ammo per shot. You still have to reload it and you can still run out of ammo.
