I don't see the point of the request system. The only games that ever reach the required amount of credits are the AAA titles which are going to get done anyway as they have the highest immediate demand.

The games that I would be willing to spend credits on and even buy extra credits to help fund are on the retired list. And usually they're on the retired list because a user was impatient and rude and ignores the fact that real people operate the website. Personally I think the flamers and trolls are the ones who should be punished and not everyone else who are patient and appreciate the work done here, but that's another discussion.

Perhaps if some of the retired games were allowed to be used for requests, it could help cheathappens gage whether a trainer is actually worth updating. Especially for the games that have been updated and patched numerous times.

Just some thoughts.

Although I sure cannot speak for the site creators and admin, I know we used to have an inmate council at the prison I worked at (in fact, at both institutions come to think of it).

The inmate delegates would congregate and lobby to obtain changes to policies and disciplinary rules. 99% of the time they got squat... but that 1% of the time provided just enough of a warm fuzzy for a portion of the population making them think they had some level of control... and it served its purpose.

I like warm fuzzies!

It's clearely stated the request system is to see how popular a game is. If people really want a tainer for a game, people will find a way to fill the amount.

The request system has been used to get over 100 trainers created that otherwise would not have been. It is working as intended.
