Have I told you how much I love GOG yet..?

I like the point where it tells me that the client is OPTIONAL. Giving me achievements and social stuff and updates OPTIONAL. Having a choice is simply priceless, isn't it?!

On one hand, I am tired of the mass proliferation of digital content delivery services.

On the other, it's nice that I can still just download from the site.

I only have 98 games from them, anyway.

It's all nice and shiny on the outside, but at the end of the day unless you backed up your purchases from GOG and the site is gone for good, your games are gone for good anyway.

Just a marketing gimmick :P

That's what life's all about- freedom! I love the fact that the games are drm free and the prices are reasonable and all the extra bonus content and now this..
These kind of bargains that this site offers are rare these days especially over here where I live, so yeah it's priceless and I'll keep supporting this site as long as it will keep running.

On the bright side, as long as GOG is a component of a survivable company (in the case, CD Projekt, which also owns cdp.pl, which essentially owns game distribution in Central Europe), it'll stick around.
