Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Discussion
Trainer Tools and Resources
The way the game handles this is the first point used is worth 1% value, and each point after is worth a little bit less, so as you add points, it slowly adds you health or other stats, with diminishing returns.
Where I think you may be running into issues, is the trainer if you click on the value type, switches the value type from the default of dword, which shows you how many points you have put into the stat, like if you had leveled it up legit in game (you still wouldn't know the true stat value until you went in game and went in and out of the screen and looked), to other data types, but won't let you switch it back to dword, which makes it really confusing trying to get it back to a readable type of data.
So don't click on the Type column in the trainer unless you have a really good reason to, you may not be able to change it back without restarting the trainer.
Now trouble shooting aside, I've so far set some of the values such as reload as high as 2500 or so without problem, no crash, and the game saves them fine. I don't know if that is true for all stats.
Edit: Update your trainer if you can still click on the type column

See if the value matchs with the value ingame. If it doesn't match. Increase it by 1 or so and see if it has any change and how much has changed. Don't nail me down but I think the Badass stats are the only values which are stored differently.
Do you have any suggestions? I had bought the AVAST Premier version and didn't really know of anything else worthwhile. I just researched it on lifehacker and it was listed as the #1 at the time so I grabbed it when they stopped listing Microsofts as a highly rated one.
Also I found out what was going on aside from the AV. It still happened after uninstalling. Turns out I had opt'd into a beta for BLPS called pcship-crocus which gave me a different executable version. So the trainer was crashing it. Totally my bad but thank you for pointing me on the right path.
Either way, small small detail the rest of the trainer is 100% top notch thanks so very much for it. You really rock.
by the way Trainer looks awesome in the vid
