    Actually I lied..

It does work, but not for rare items for upgrading.

You won't see them go up, but they do when you go to a different section of your inventory and back.

Passive Detectors are great for upgrading, they have a lot of XP. Just highlight them and hold in Num Pad 6 and wait

Yeah, As you progress through the story, there more rare ones that give off waay more XP.

I know completed it years ago on my PS3.. but there is one downside to upgrading weapons and accessories early on, the time requirements in fights for 5 stars is lowered considerably :P

Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

SO far it looks great, only other thing I can think of requesting is an easy stagger function.

Unless, someone sends in a save before me. Would you mind looking into it? It's been awhile since I've played it on the PS3, but I know they're just items that basically boost the weapon and to a certain point transform into a new one, etc. They are in the stores, but later on in the game. I'll check it out.

    Thanks, by the way.

It didn't work on accessories at all because they are a single item. That why the trainer can't work with it. Only way is to add to the item list but there is a hundred of Item list code to add to the trainer and hopefully it won't erase the important accessory that you want to keep.

Using the save editor is the best bet

No, when you're progressing through the game you encounter items that you get and buy that apply to your weapons.

Since your weapons have levels and the higher the level of the weapon the stronger it is (obviously) But, from a certain point they transform into a more powerful weapon.

I'm just simply asking if the ADD INVENTORY applies to those items. I'm not sure if they're part of accessories. It's been awhile since I've played this game.

I just use the add gil option in the trainer and buy 99 of each item in order to upgrade the weapons

Yes, but that becomes very Tedious after awhile.

I know because I actually used a save game editor for FF13 on the PS3 and it took hours... I believe simply adding more of the items for the upgrade with a simple button at least for me cuts the time possibly to a 3rd or more...

I'm strong, but I'm wild. They, say that I drink too much.
The only problem that I have is that I think too much.

Thank you Pwiz and Caliber for teh Trainer and helpful feedback
Just a few thoughts for the future trainer update you're most likely working on, or not (FFXIII receives much hate for putting players through a roughly 6-8 hour linear path).

    1. I was wondering if it would be possible to sustain the Gestalt gauge for when you activate an eidolon in battle, so that you may keep fighting with it throughout.
    2. Would there be a way to have infinite items/components when upgrading? (somehow bypass the item deduction maybe?) I know you can put an item to level 3 with a lower tier component just to activate the 200% exp bonus gain, and then throw passive detectors through it (tedious, but worthwhile) and max the item to * level. This might be helpful with the field exploration "perfumes" as well (eg. aegisol, deceptisol, and etc.)
I dont think there would be an effective way to replicate accessories and weapons since they take up a full slot without a # indicator. That may require a save game editor similar to black chocobo for FFVII or what not. If you do manage that, color me surprised.
BTW: great work on Agarest guys. Your efforts have me taking breaks from DOTA 2 binges.
Life is not short. Living is the longest thing that anyone ever does.
