I have a similar issue! I can ask for the credit alright but no matter if ask for positive or negative funds, the next month my available funds are negative.

I could never get it to work as advertised no matter how I configured that game. I ran across the following edit, however, and it seems to work consistently.

GearCity Edits


-Save the exe file to the same folder as your save games.
-Drag your save game overtop of the exe file and let go of the mouse.
-The program will start with the save game loaded.
-Left hand side is table names
-Right hand side is values
-Click CompanyList table
-Edit the information in the boxes on the right.
-Close the program.
-Load the save game, have fun

You will need to download the following zip(program) but it is easy to find on the MicroSoft page: SQLiteStudio-3.2.1.

You don't even need to do that. You can put how much money in the the options which i think is option one in Gearcity. You also have a Sandbox option for unlimited money.
