To reveal the map for the game you it may help if you know how the game does it itself.
There is an api in the game "InterfaceManager.m_Panel_Map.RevealCurrentScene();" which can reveal the entire map.
This could be executed with a code injection if you know how to do that with .NET code.

So I'm guessing a "true" is set when a locations name is visible on map also note there is a "details check" this is probably executed when charcole is used so perhaps feeding 10000f into the charcole would allow the player to use 1 peice of charcole to reveal the entire map? Just an idea.

Same function as the map revealer but with a smaller radius.
Not sure if any of this will help but maybe..... I would focus on clamping the "DoNearbyDetailsCheck" function and changing its arg0 into 1000000f so all the player needs to do is use one peice of charcole to reveal the entire map.
