"Game doesn't run on my system... must be the game... must be a console port"
Seriously people need to stop this BS excuse.
DR3's PC engine was redesigned mainly from scratch, it is not a port, the only thing that was reused was textures and meshes and that is it.
But yeah people have to stop using this, it is making people more and more silly looking.
If the game has a new engine designed for the PC, then it cannot be a port, simple as that.
It is a port if the engine coding was just changed slightly to be compiled into a windows binary with the majority of the engine still designed for the console hardware. THAT IS A PORT.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

works fine here with no FPs issues or slowdown at all. Maybe your PC is just crap?

It's hard not to say it, Dab, that's what gamers see at almost every website. I was just Googling DR3 about the patch that came out today. Every site is loaded with the term "port."
PC World, "Dead Rising 3 is a solid game, with a solid PC port."
IncGamers.com: "Ultimately, my opinion on the PC port is “Hmm.”
usgamer.net has no less than 10 uses of "port" on the front page of its review of DR3. They call DR3 "Capcom Vancouver's PC port."
"Dead Rising 3 is a fun game, but this PC port isn't the greatest." - usgamer.net
You see it in Steam's forum and in IGN articles & reviews.
People say it because it's easier than saying: translation of a piece of software from one operating system to another - Definition from bleepingcomputer.com
I'm not saying that you're not correct, just outnumbered.

Bro you have almost 20,000 zombies +/- in the game without loading between cities and traveling high speed in a vehicle, with that much pressure and ppl R still complaining about 60fps or 1080p! lol
Give it a break, I think it plays really smooth on a PC as much as it plays on a console!
cheers!

I had no problems at all if i read the steam page discussion I'm shock.
I think people have way to many free time to complain about anything the can find or people have follow the trolls and just try to crush the game. There are wolfs and sheep's and many people in real life are sheep's. Are you one of them?
i am not engels so my engels is not super good
so sorry for that ;-)

i disagree with it being designed for just Consoles I HATE CONSOLES PC rocks all they way console can go to hell for all i care PC will always have one up on consoles 1 being the fact that you can mod games not just to cheat but to beautify the graphics with ENB mods or what not you can do that with consoles you can chage the resolution either on a console so there you go in a nut shell i would rather gut out my PC every 5 or so years and UPGRADE to UP TO PAR PARTS (haha that rhymes) and continue my gaming on PC basically what it comes down to IS THE DEVELOPERS of the games not porting correctly ITS ABSOLUTELY THEIR FAULT for rushing games out to make a quick buck plain and simple and for people that fail to realize that is a shame, and when i was part of the Steam forum for DR3 when it first came out and most if not all laptop users couldnt play the game that because once again they failed to read the specs of the game and the people i tried to help with teamviewer were underspec and i basically told them you gotta upgrade to play that game i try and try and try to help people but you cant help people who dont want it

Even Steam uses the term 'bad port' here. It's a Steam article called: "Games what were ported badly."
