I already solved the problem, The outdated trainer works for me unlike the updated trainer.

The trainer from August 06, 2016 works on the Steam version?

I just finished the game and the newest trainer posted March 2018 worked great (Thanks Cal). If you play, be sure to read and follow Caliber's instructions about option-2. Everything will be fine and you'll be on your way to a memorable playthru.

If you enjoy a pure FPS game, especially Post-Apocalyptic, this is a game for your playlist. The environment and updated grafix are among the best, if not the best, I've seen. Many of the enemies and game mechanics are unique to the game, while the puzzles and progression were clever and satisfying to solve. I played the original 5 years ago and wanted to play the Redux versions before the new Metro Exodus releases in February, 2019.

It was a totally enjoyable game with incredibly creative and immersive missions. I was quickly addicted and finished it in 3-4 days and absolutely loved it.

I can't wait to dive into Last Light Redux shortly, while looking forward to the new one in early 2019.

Great game & trainer. My totally biased opinion: 9.5/10 for both.

Hey guys, just wanted to give people a heads up if, like me, you loaded up 2033 after playing through exodus. I saw the trainer was updated along with the game adding some geforce stability stuff recently. Anyway, i was getting LOTS of crashes when i started using the trainer after the first part when you get supplied and head out on the railcart with the boys from Exibition. It was really ticking me off till i noticed it seemed to only happen when i switched guns. Further testing showed it only happened when i switched to the pistol Alex hands you in the beginning, so i sold the damn thing and have been crash free since.

TLDR; If youre having crashes, get rid of the damn pistol.

I was also experiencing crashes using the trainer. I'll try selling the handgun to see if that works for me too. Thanks.

I give it a shot here, see if anyone else has had this issue. I've used tons of trainers from here before, never had an issue in the past (thanks guys). Just picked up this one today, and running into a script error on it every time I open it. Never seen that before, and can't find anything on it.

Yes, I've done all the basics, and I'm not even running any anti-virus software, aside from the standard Windows Defender, and that's all shut off.

As soon as I click the trainer, it opens up, and I get a script error message that says:

Clicking yes doesn't do anything, neither does no. Pressing F1 at the start of the game still yields the "trainer activated" sound, but nothing else works.

Any ideas?
