Game crashes while fighting librarians. This is probably caused because game is assuming insta-death and I don't die resulting in a crash.

I can confirm the same as well, it's crashed a couple times in a row when entering the bandit compound early in the game (Bourbon getting captured & leaving Artyom behind in the vents with his AK and his pack).

As soon as I open up on the bandits and they pelt me with shrapnel from all directions, within a few seconds CRASH to desktop.

Very annoying. Also happened when I accidentally threw a dynamite stick too close to me. It exploded --> CTD. Triggered a tripwire I couldn't see, BAM --> CTD
And to think I started playing this because I currently can't play crashtastic Dying Light due to its unbearable infinite loading-CTD loop.

Also too bad the Mega Resources no longer works on the secondaries (knives, incendiaries etc).

What are the chances of this death-crash problem getting fixed at some stage? Sometimes it can't be helped, there are too many enemies on-screen and you're caught in overlapping lines of fire, or you trigger a tripwire you didn't see in time and there's not enough space to run away.

When that happens - Crash to Desktop. It's basically the Unlimited Health function not doing its job.

I have discovered something by doing a bit of testing outside the box. It's not just the Unlimited Health causing the crashes, it's the whole trainer itself.

I tried a different trainer which has a perfectly working God mode, but a lacking Unlimited Gas Mask function and missing an Overheat function.

So I used both trainers together, only activating 5, 6 and 7 (no Overheat & Unlimited/Unbreakable gas mask) on the CH version and using the rest of the other one.

Naturally, I had reservations since having two trainers active on the same game at the same time might cause some fireworks but it all went fine until I came face to face with a Librarian who attacked me immediately. And voila, the second he touched me --> crash to desktop.

I shut down the CH trainer, started up only the other trainer, restarted the game, got in the Librarian's face, a second one joined the fight, they whacked me several times. No crash.

I was very careful NOT to activate the same functions in both trainers, in order to test my theory properly. The CH trainer is the one with the problem. I've been using the other one since and I haven't crashed yet.

But I'd rather be able to use the CH one, otherwise what am I paying for?

Hey Cal, After 5 hrs of game time i have noticed using unlimited health will cause a crash to desktop when taking too much damage ( explosion or hits ) Also unlimited ammo will cause a CTD if you pick up the same gun from a dropped enemy.

i have probably crashed 8 times while using both. I know its an old title but if it can be updated or fixed, i would appriciate it.
