Picked this up during the discounted steam release, wasn't expecting much , but oh man, i went into my first game on normal, half expecting to faceroll the CP 1914 scenario, and promptly got my behind served on a silver plate, tried 6 times sofar, but im making zero progress

can't remember the last time i went into a game on normal difficulty and got my arse handet to me

so any1 else playing, and perhaps got some tips on the CP 1914 scenario?

Yep me 2, sorry not so many tips other than to keep the garrison units off the frontline they cant do anything but to be a cannon fodder . I neeted a little help in this game so i created a request for a trainer for this game and it has been approved and yet it is not on the request page just at the category page

Playing as the CP, you don't really have a choice, you don't have the resources to fully stock your frontlines with only infantry

seems to me, the only chance to win as CP, is to concentrate german production on subs, to cut off the constant flow of Entente convoy's, which if not stopped, will lead to a British/French breakthrough with 5 million infantry units, which is impossible to keep up with, seeing as you also have to man the Russian and Italien Front, which has no units at all except 2 small garrison units, which are useless

The game is broken play on easy on both sided and I still get my ass kicked every time what needed is a trainer that gives you one turn units and extra production points.

Entente side i manage to beat the first time, on easy and normal, no strategy involved, just spam infantry with all nations, ignore all other unit types, and you'll simply outproduce the CP, by late 1915, and be in berlin within another 25 turns

the convoy PP gain is laughable overpowered, and there's nothing the CP can do to stop it

Drenus - would you recommend this game? I've played strategic WWI and to end all wars but I've not played this yet. Is there an in game editor?

in its current state, no, i can't recommend it

the devs have been promising a patch to fix a long list of issues, but that's been going on for about 4 months now, and it only just recently became a public beta

there's no editor, all you get are 4 scenarios, one for each year of the war

You are not the only one, i love it and play it as much as i can
