Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening Message Board  

Hey, I just bought the special edition of DA from Steam. I've been trying just about every trainer that's available and none of them work. First of all, Norton grabs 'em and when I get that sorted out the trainer still crashes at loading. Any ideas?

Mr Norton should have been put to sleep before using the trainer.

Turn off/Disable all security, anti-virus (esp. real time scanning) and firewall. Right-click and run trainer and game As Admin.

When using Norton AV etc, I find it easier to run Norton Insight against the trainer file and then set the option for Norton to "Trust" the file. That way you don't have to shut down Norton every time you want to use the game. Its worked every time for me.

trainer crashing during authentication.. nothing is blocking it its just crashing i run win 7.

Is it from the Ultimate edition on steam?

If so then use this trainer - Dragon Age Origins - Mega Trainer (Patch #5 STEAMD2D).

Reverting to IE 9 worked!

Only now, the DAO Ultimate Edition Rejects ALL the Versions on List here hahahahha /cry

Origin or Steam?

As I have the Steam version and the trainer I said before still works with the Steam UE version.
