Hi CheatHappens,

I have been with you since January 1st 2007, and I must say I admire the amount of work the creators and coders do, not to mention the commuinity.

What I have just realized is that in order to properly enjoy a game you have to use cheats and trainers. The stories they put in their games are simply the best way for them to show what incredible computer power and hours of compiling and modeling can do.

I think the main problem is the that the video game company's have to marketize their games purely around some made up stories that the producers and directors force onto the 3d designers, who just really want to write stuff and do what they love.

I just wanted to know if anyone shares my opinion on this?

I'm not entirely certain I completely understand what you are saying here, but if I am actually getting it, then no.

I enjoy using trainers and cheating. I even think the gaming experience is often greatly improved with the use of a trainer. I do believe the video game industry's no cheating stance is ridiculous and over the top.

However; Do I think that it's absolutely necessary to enjoy a game or that it somehow better showcases the game makers compiling and modeling? - No, I do not. Nor do I think the companies are pressuring the 3d designers to uphold their companies 'no cheating' policies in anyway.

Gamers like us simply will have to continue to deal with an industry that feels it is entitled to impose it's view on us even though we pay our hard earned money, pre-order their games, and continue to support them. Sure, we own the copy that we bought and paid for legitimately. Sure, the game is single player and our cheating has no effect on anyone else, but they don't care. We simply have to rely on the fact the we can turn to places like CH to break through the wrongfully imposed barriers they place in front of us.
