IF you have a computer that can run it or a console, I'd keep it. The game itself is great, just a lot of people have issues with it.
Grammar and punctuation is the difference between; "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse." ...and... i helped my uncle jack off a horse.

Well i was able to play for an hr online, it seems to have sorted out. Do not sell your copies yet and have some patience as I am pretty sure this will be solved. Be sure to get nuked fast w/o trainer, so get used to it. And it's pretty fun to be honest, had no lags or stuttering at all. I recommend the 3-8 player campaign, you can gain notoriety pretty quickly. Don't use the trainer because be sure players will recognize, be a good sport.

Any game that's hyped this much is doomed to disappoint. Seriously, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Oh, and does anyone remember the last uber-hyped title that lived up to all expectations? Bioshock Infinite, anyone?

I've played through the campaign and I'd say (story- and gameplay-wise) it's a pretty solid game for its genre. Reminds me a lot of the GTA series, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

However, WD has MAJOR issues with texture streaming -- which is primarily what causes all the stutters. At certain points, it makes the game absolutely unplayable.

Ubi obviously designed the game for PC (much like ACIV) because of all the available PC-only graphical bells and whistles, but there must've been a bake sale or something at their headquarters during the "optimization" stage of development.

Bottom line: Ubi made a decent game -- not worthy of all the hype, but decent. It's not the definitive game of the genre, but I'm having a lot of fun with it. As for the performance issues, I really can't comprehend how Ubi managed squeeze out an otherwise bug-free game without paying any mind to optimization.

And once again, the people who pirated the game get a better play experience than the people who paid for it and game developers can't figure out why people pirate games.

No, they know why. They just don't think it's right and on this particular matter I actually agree with them. People who pirate games will look for any excuse to justify stealing something. Just because there are problems with this game doesn't make playing it without paying for it okay. Anyway I've been running the game on my PC without issue.
