so I launch the trainer today and upon pressing F1 at the main menu the trainer keeps saying activated. Is there an update or should I try a delete and re-download.

your keyboard cache is full. this can happy if you have

    1) a busted keyboard or faulty keyboard key
    2) the game is using the keyboard cache at the same time you press F1

the best way to fix this is to reboot

    best,
    Cal

It is trainer related. I can start the game and when I press F1 it crashes.
Even in offline mode and antivirus off.

Hi, thanks for the trainer but if you could add status immunity for petrification that would be awesome!

Try right clicking on the trainer and select "Run as administrator" in case it's a permission issue and the files got blocked somehow.

Also try removing the temporary files and see if that works, usually however the trainer will override these when you start the game so that shouldn't be a issue, they're in the Temp folder.

Finally check the version of the game in the main menu, it should be Ver.1.02 and Calibration.1.05
(Since you specifically stated you tried offline mode you are obviously using the normal Steam exe and not any modified files, otherwise those can also at times interfere with how the trainer works.)

I would suggest checking the AV program to see if that blocked the trainer but you already tested this by disabling it so it's not that.

EDIT: Come to think of it this might already be in the FAQ / Trainer Troubleshooting Guide.

I'm really enjoying the trainer, Caliber -- works perfectly, as always.

I hate requesting trainer features (mostly because it makes me sound like a grabby dimwit), but it might be cool to have a feature that resets bonfires to level one.

My reasoning is essentially this: since it's possible to "farm out" mobs in DkS2 (and drop chances for some items are ridiculously low), the only option is to burn a bonfire ascetic, which then increases the difficulty for that particular area and does a few other things, like refreshes certain loot items and adds new encounters. If an individual could reset one (or all) bonfires, or level them up or down using the trainer, farming would be much easier.

I'm not sure if that's an impossibly complex idea, but it would be pretty slick to have as an option. No worries if it isn't doable.

Thank you again for the trainer.

    *EDIT*
Even if one could just reset the spawn counter for mobs, it would be helpful.

I would definitely support having a spawn counter reset.
