Frankly, when you have to point out that "wow, you can scroll the EULA with your mouse", you should realize how low you have sunk. Citing this as some wondrous new feature is, simply put, degrading.

I thought I bought a PC game, nope, this is console game.

All prompts are for gamepad, impossible to remap my G700s 4 and 5 buttons.

They call that porting a game from PS3/4 and Xbox but they forgot what porting means.

Total dissatisfaction + 60 bucks down the drain

60$ ? where did you pay for this ?
    its 50 on steam
    37 on GMG
and the controller is very good

This style of game plays so much better with a controller anyway. I got a controller for the first one, as well as the Castlevania games, and so I instantly just plugged mine in when I started DS2. Instead of complaining about KB/M controls, which will likely NEVER be as perfect as you're wanting them to be, just go get a damned controller. I'm all about the PC Master race, and I'm using one, so what's stopping you?

I'll tell you what stopping me,

I'm a permanently disabled "old" dude who try to choose between pc games and food.

So, now you're aware of some of my problems you can see why I can't "just go get a damned controller".

I played DS1 with the controller. Why? Because it was better to control actully for me and felt more comfortable. Which is odd for me. I tried using the Keyboard and mouse and it felt weird. So am not to worried about that keyboard controls for this one.

count me as one of the people who doesn't understand all the hype on this game. the controlling mechanism for this game is horrible.

I think this game sucks, but that's just one person's opinion.

I think that last comment just stopped me clicking 'buy' on STEAM..

Is there modding potential for this game? Because if there is (like the first) there is always hope for the PC version - and I'll probably buy it tonight. However, if it is like the first which was an insultingly bad port and a waste of money I just won't pay.

There' a gap of 1 sec. when you attack you have to wait before you can turn your character to attack from a different angle or to attack another enemy.

Very cumbersome, the lack of fluidity in the movements combined with poorly designed control system is a game killer.

Hopefully someone will create a mod to fix those last century problems
