Just thought I should inform people who like to mess with this game, that you can easily mod it.
Open up one of the Data#.fbz files with some rar/zip unpacker, I use IZArc, it's a free all-purpose tool in that regard.
The files most interesting to us are in folders such as:
Items
Misc
Parts
Scripts
Units
So extract those folders. For the game to read those files unextracted, all you need to do is make sure the folders+files are in the same logical Place as they were in the fbz file. So for instance: ...steam/steamapps/common/shadowgrounds survivor/data/items or any of the other folders.
Some of the interesting files are already in text files, like the upgrades.txt in the Items folder, in which you can lower the cost of upgrades. Others are in files like dhp files, but these too can be edited with something like notepad ++
Just try opening one up, you'll see that much of what is inside is very self-explanatory.
I'll give one example:
I opened up the w_rifle.dhp file in the Data/Parts/Weapons folder, and here I can edit damage, ammo usage, clip size etc, like this:
ammousage=0
And voila! Save, and the rifle should not use any ammo, so no reload, in game. Though there are other rifle files as well, so you may want to check through other files to make them read the same as well.
In the Misc folder, there's a very important file called default_game_options.txt,
In it, you can edit the flashlight:
game_flashlight_energy_max = 60000
game_flashlight_energy_low = 15000
game_flashlight_energy_usage = 0
So it should be infinite (same applies to the original Shadowgrounds).
Also, scroll down until you find the cheat section:

That should make it so that you are immortal (still take damage, but you won't die), also some slight autoaim added.
